Terms of Use
Last updated: June 20, 2026
By using Trail Tracker, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Trail Tracker is a web-based GPS tool for recording blood trails and navigating during wounded game recovery. It is provided as a progressive web app (PWA) you install to your phone’s home screen.
Your responsibilities
- Follow all hunting laws, regulations, and safety practices in your area.
- Use your own judgment in the field. Trail Tracker is a reference tool, not a substitute for experience, a guide, or emergency services.
- Keep your login email secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Do not misuse the service (scraping, attacking servers, sharing accounts to circumvent purchase limits, etc.).
Purchases & subscriptions
- Full app — one-time purchase unlocks land layers, property tools, and unlimited local saves on devices tied to your account entitlements.
- Cloud backup — optional monthly subscription syncs saved tracks across devices. Requires the full app and a login.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Refund requests: email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase with your receipt email.
- We may change pricing for new purchases. Existing one-time purchases are not retroactively affected.
Disclaimer of warranties
Trail Tracker is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accurate GPS fixes, correct map data, or successful recovery outcomes. GPS accuracy varies with terrain, weather, device hardware, and phone settings.
See our Map & Property Disclaimer for limits on boundary and parcel data.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trail Tracker and its operators are not liable for lost game, injury, property disputes, trespass, navigation errors, data loss, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse or non-payment. You may stop using the service at any time. Deleting the app from your home screen removes local data from that device unless you have cloud backup.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the operator is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
